Can I Take Part?
Giant® Food (the “Sponsor”) In-store Customer Satisfaction Survey (the “Survey”) is open to all individuals residing legally in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, or Delaware who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of the survey (the “Entrant”). Individuals who are employed or work as directors, officers, managers, supervisors, and employees of the Sponsor, its agents and consultant, immediate family members such as spouses, children, siblings, parents, or relatives, or those living in the same household, and other individuals who are/were engaged in the development, production, distribution, or execution of this Survey are ineligible to participate.
This Survey is considered void outside of the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware and any other area or state where it is prohibited or restricted by law.
How do I Enter?
If you are eligible, you may choose between two methods of joining the Survey: (a) through the Online Survey, or (b) the AMOE (Alternate Method of Entry).
- To join the Online Survey, Entrant must have made any amount of purchase at any participating Giant® Food retail store during the Survey Period and must have received a survey invitation printed on their receipt at the cash register. He/She must log on to https://www.talktogiantfoods.com (the “Website”) not more than five (5) days from the date of his/her cash register receipt and enter the cash receipt number from the participating Giant® Food retail location. The Entrant must complete the survey and click “Continue”. The Entrant must answer the entry form in its entirety and click “Submit”. A single entry that is eligible for the Sweepstakes Entry Period will be provided. Entrants who opt for the Online Survey must be able to access the Internet to participate.
- To choose the AMOE (Alternate Method of Entry), the Entrant may join by mailing his/her entry. To participate, the Entrant must type or handprint the following information:

- The above information must appear on a plain card measuring 3″ x 5″. This card must be placed inside a business-sized envelope and mailed to the following address:

An envelope containing a filled-out card will be considered as one (1) entry. To be eligible as an entry, the envelope must be postmarked and received on or before the dates specified as “Entry Periods”. Multiple entries placed in a single envelope will be considered void. Mechanical reproductions will not be accepted. Proof of submission of any entry will not be considered as proof of receipt by the Sponsor.
No purchase or completion of Online Survey is necessary to join through AMOE.
Each entrant is limited only to a maximum of five (5) entries. This applies to every household and every Entry Period. All non-winning entries from a past Entry Period will not be carried over to the next Entry Period. Non-winning entries of a previous period will also be ineligible for any future drawings.
The Sponsor and Survey Entity shall not be responsible for lost, late, undeliverable, or misdirected entries, whether sent through mail or through online means due to omissions, interruption, defects, system errors, delay in transmissions or operations, failures, theft or destruction, faulty transmissions, or technical malfunctions.
What Can I Win?
Each winner will receive a $500 Giant Food gift card, the approximate retail value of which is $500. Five (5) winners will be awarded for every Entry Period. Only one (1) prize shall be awarded for every Entrant/household for each Entry Period. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or assigned unless the Sponsor allows it at its sole discretion. Winners shall be responsible for any taxes imposed upon the prize unless otherwise stated.
How Do I Win?
Each winning entry shall be picked through a random prize drawing on the date specified for the Entry Period. The winning entries shall be drawn from all entries received within the allowed Entry Period. The odds of winning in each Period will depend upon the number of entries received for that Entry Period.
How Do I Find Out If I Won?
All potential prize winners will be notified through phone, e-mail, and/or mail. The notification will be sent out approximately two (2) business days after the draw date of each Entry Period. The Sponsor may require the Prize Winners to produce an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (“AELPR”) within seven (7) business days upon receipt of notification to claim the Prize, unless legally prohibited. Otherwise, the Prize may be forfeited.
The Sponsor shall make two (2) attempts to get in touch with the Prize Winner. Should contact fail and the Winner does not sign and return the
“AELPR” within the allowed time period or if he/she is disqualified, the Sponsor will award the Prize to an alternate winner, who will be picked through a random drawing from the non-winning entries received for that Entry Period, if time allows. The Sponsor shall perform two (2) alternate drawings. If there are remaining Prizes, they will no longer be awarded.
General Conditions
The Survey and the Sweepstakes are governed by United States laws. The Sponsor reserves the right to change, modify, or close the Survey when and if necessary. The Sponsor may also disqualify any Entrant if he/she is found to have tampered with the process of entry and/or the operation of the Survey or the Sweepstakes, or is proven to have violated the Official Rules, or have acted in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.
The Sponsor prohibits the use of any computer software program or device in the automation of the entry process.
Entrants who join the Survey agree to allow the Sponsor to publish their names and town of residence in the Winner’s List which shall be provided to the public as stated in the Official Rules.
All entries, winning or non-winning shall be considered the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will neither be acknowledged nor returned. Any entries considered false or deceptive shall be considered ineligible.
All decisions of the Sponsor regarding all matters related to the Survey and the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding.
