I often go to the#1415 store in Mount Holly.I need a electric shopping cart to move arround the store. 9 out of 10 times the carts are sitting up at the door dead! People who use them will not plug them up when finished.The people who bring them from outside will not eithor. There are only two (2) at each store which is not enough for handicap shoppers. I know the stores are not very big,but with the eldery people who use food lion there should be at least four (4).I go to Wal-Mart for one reason because they have as many as 10 carts,and go out of the way to keep them charged. Food Lion is closest to my home,and I would use more often if the carts was working. Seams as tho Food Lion don’t want elderly or handicap patrons.

She was curt, and short tempered calling me honey and sweetie as she informed me that she had only come in to help out as She informed me that her light was not on even though she had just checked out two customers before Me. Quote ” let’s just get you out of here. I do not have a name.” all the while tossing my groceries accross counter and arguring she was not tossing. Dismissed me as started talking to the next customer (light still Not on but he was not told that ). Left items out of the bag.
I am person who has spats with folks at check out counters but this young lady was clearly did not want to be at work.
Another familiar employee saw me at my car trying to repack my bags etc. with tears and came over to check on me. I explained and she apologized for the incident.
Sad day a Foodlion.
Food Lion is right across the street from me so I definitely like the convenience. I don’t think the prices are as good as Walmart or even Target. I guess they don’t try to compete with those two. It wouldn’t hurt to open a lane when the lines are backed up down the aisle too.

I enjoy shopping at Foodlion. The store is clean,well stockedand convient. The associates polite and helpful. They go out of their way to see that I get good service. There is an excellent meat dept,and produce section also. Bob the assistant mgr seems like a friend not just an employee.
I am very pleased with the way Food Lion has improved the store layout, the added products, fresh produce dept. and the more competive pricing.
I sometimes try shopping at other grocery stores but always come back to Food Lion. They have a excellent assortment of products and a competive price. The staff is always helpful and courteous.
My wife and I have been shopping at Food Lion for many years. Food cost less than the other stores. We are happ with the priceing of the food.
Most Food Lion stores adequately meet my food needs. This week I stopped at a Food Lion that usually is not one that I shop. The experience was not good. It will not prevent me from patronizing other Food Lion stores, but I will not return to this particular one. The ‘week 5’ coupon did not print for the free holiday dinner. This was not noticed until I had my groceries outside of the store and in my car. So, I went back in with the receipt and spoke to the cashier. She directed me to the customer service counter. That person asked for and I produced my receipt, then asked to see the groceries that were already in the car. The groceries were brought back in and she had to open every bag (they were tied) to re scan the items and my card. Eventually, all she did was write on my receipt that “coupon did not print”. After seeing the receipt, it was unreasonable to go through all that just to have the receipt noted and initialed, which could have been done without all the hassle. It’s hard to imagine that so many people are unemployed while the incompetants are working.
