Hello- my husband and I discovered Ruby Tuesday about a year ago, and have often returned because of the high quality of food and friendly service. The salad bar is always fresh and the meals are delicious and filling. We are sitting at your location in Rockwall, TX finishing our meal as I write this email.
Two things:
During the summer, we visited the same location, and when our young waiter failed to offer us an appetizer, we said we would like to take advantage of the highly-advertised guarantee that Ruby Tuesday offers and accept a shrimp fondue appetizer for no charge. The server made it abundantly clear that our taking advantage of his mistake was inconvenient and could get him in trouble. We received our appetizer, which was wonderful, but our drinks were never again refilled and we were ignored for the remainder of that visit. We only came back with the resolve that we make sure to have a different waiter.
Second: Ruby clearly advertises in large lettering that garlic cheese biscuits are complimentary with every meal. Biscuits have never been offered to us. Every time we have come, we have had to ask, and each time, they were brought long after they were ordered. If the company would prefer not to extend this courtesy to its patrons, the fix is simple: quit advertising the complimentary biscuits.
I finally mention these things now, not to benefit myself, but only in the hope that staff at this location will be properly trained, or that the corporate quarters will make a decision to change the menu and advertisements to adhere to the practices that this restaurant is following.
Thank you.

My husband and I went to our usual Ruby at RT#38 and Briggs rd, mt laurel,n.j.
We were told there was a 20 min wait and the place wasmobbed. Near the entrance we saw many empty tables that were not cleaned. Many people walked out. This was about 7pm, 10/10/12. When we were finally seated on the farther side of the bar we saw multiple empty tables and questioned whether they were short of help. Our shrimp came ice cold and manager came to take plates back to kitchen. When asked he said his name was “Ed”> The dinners were replaced and it was fine. However, there were tables that were NEVER cleaned as we sat for over an hour. The manager said they were not short of help.
I’m telling you this because I thought the place was mismanaged tonite. The manager talked to people and sat at a table instead of either cleaning up or having employees do what needed to be done. I would hate to see this restaurant go down.
I was at the rubies in dekalb today for lunch, 11:30 a.m. We were the 3 rd table in the place with people sitting. I have never seen the floors so dirty. Salad bar droppings all around the salad bar. The partition that separates the salad bar from the customers had what appeared to be pieces of ham from the salad bar sitting on it. It was all dryed put and nasty. I would be afraid to see the kitchen if the front area was that bad.
Will think twice before ever returning.
