T.J. Maxx is a chain of American department stores carrying a variety of apparel, home wares, shoes, kids’ toys, beauty products, and accessories. The store chain is part of the parent company TJX Companies, which is also the owner of Marshalls, Home Goods, and Sierra Trading Post. Marshalls and T.J. Maxx are usually opened up in adjoining retail locations and operate as sister retail spaces.
A number of T.J. Maxx stores are now being opened with adjoining Home Goods stores as a sister store alternative. Each of these have very similar price ranges and carry products that complement one another.
